Reimagining the Piccadilly Entertainment District

Project details

Programme
Unit PG14
Year 4

The project aims to reinvigorate Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester for public leisure, reimagining it as a series of accessible performance venues, enhancing the use for underrepresented artists like myself in the city by capitalising on the passing public as the audience.

Architecturally it takes precedent from the Piccadilly Entertainment District, the 1960s scheme proposal for the site which never came to fruition.
